Career path:

In 2001, I obtained a B. Eng. in chemical engineering (concentration environment) of the École Polytechnique de Montréal, during which I worked, within the framework of a final project, on the applicability of life cycle impact assessment (LCIA) methods in the North American context.

In 2000, I joined the SNC-Lavalin team as pharmaceutical validation specialist. Wishing to pursue my activities within the field of the environment, I joined the CIRAIG starting up team as technical coordinator in 2001. In this post, which I assured until September 2004, I was responsible for the coordination of the Research center activities and for the various projects follow-up. In parallel with my coordination activities, I participated in the realization of a graduated and a continuing education courses offered by the École Polytechnique. My participation concerned the modelling of products and services life cycle by means of software tools.

Since I joined the CIRAIG analyst team, I especially participated in a project regarding the elaboration of a life cycle inventory (LCI) data for the Quebec energy sector. I presently work on a project of simplified life cycle analysis (LCA) of office furnishing production lines and in the implementation of an environmental performance diagnosis tool based on life cycle thinking.
