In keeping with its mission and in order to support companies, governments, and university research units in their efforts towards sustainable development, the CIRAIG has acquired and developed different tools, including:
- A documentation centre which includes an extensive collection of LCA references and case studies;
- A resource directory of companies and public organizations using or wanting to use LCA;
- A qualification system for international LCA databases;
- LCA software (e.g., Gabi, Simapro, Team, KCL-Eco, etc.);
The main North American (Franklin) and international (ecoinvent) databases, as well as specific databases developed by the CIRAIG, are all available in the resource centre.
